Juneau has several cruise ship docks, and knowing where your ship is docking is essential. We’ll coordinate with you in advance to make sure your officiant—usually Jessie—is waiting at the right spot.


Jessie will assist with signing your marriage license and return it to the Department of Vital Statistics after the ceremony, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

We can arrange for Jessie to bring a bouquet, but most couples choose silk or synthetic flowers so they can bring them home as a keepsake. It’s a sweet, practical touch that travels well and lasts forever.

The cruise ship docks are public property, and any formal setup (like arches or chairs) would require a permit from Docks & Harbors. For most elopements, that’s not necessary—these ceremonies are short, sweet, and beautifully simple.
