Some clever hanging decorations, well placed white lights create the setting for a simple Christmas eve party.  If you have limited space, but still want a tree.  Try putting it out side a large window freeing all that space inside.  If children are coming try adding some whimsical Santa prints.  If you are having favors, try wrapping them in fun Christmas paper and placing them under the tree until your guest are ready for departure.
