Even a simple, family-only birthday needs to be celebrated.  This dinner was made more festive with a wonderful summer centerpiece of peonies, ranaculus, and calla lilies.  

Prepare a meal that is a outside of your normal box, like these easy vegetable and ground turkey stuffed bell peppers and your event will quickly be brought up a notch.  Add some quick rosemary bread from costco, a salad and you have an elegant up scale meal to better celebrate any dinner party.

This was a great reception at St. Paul's Church for over 100 people.  I created several red and white themed flower arrangements then made sure all of the donated food items were properly displayed.  The tables were previous set for a First Holy Communion reception earlier in the day the the beautiful spring-y yellow theme.  

Try mixing your theme color with white to make your color go further without being overwhelming.

I just had the opportunity to take a cruise with Juneau Tours and Whale Watch.  What an amazing adventure.

This company has several size boats that you can rent based on the needs of your event.  You can either have your party on the boat or they can shuttle your guest to a remote beach and you can have a fabulous party on shore.

The larger boats have the capability for catering and a bar tending.  

I have many ideas on how to decorate the blank canvas their boats currently are.  And what an amazing story for your guests.  You are guaranteed to see whales or your money back.  A win-win scenario!  This is perfect for the bride in off the cruise ships (one less excursion you need to make time for), the bride with numerous guest from out of town (an wonderful adventure) or the adventurous bride and groom who want something a little different!  Plus they have shuttles from the cruise ships.
