Throwing an ice cream party is a great idea for a warm summer day. It is simple and the guests get to shake their wiggles out while making their own ice cream. I recommend keeping the ice cream recipe simple and let the guest add their favorite toppings be creative with gummy bears, mini, m&m's sprinkles, bananas, nuts, cherries, crushed oreos and sauces like chocolate, caramel and whipped cream. When creating a themed birthday, selectively choosing where to spend your money will help stretch your dollar. If the special themed table clothes or plates and cups are expensive, try purchasing one or two worth and supplementing with the less expensive solid color items. Then when you set the plates or cups on the table, mix and match the more pricey items with the cheaper ones to make it go further. When you need a night away from the kids. An elegant wine and cheese party can be exactly the distraction you need. When planning a fun wine and cheese event there are a few different ways your can pick your bottles of wine. If you know something about wine, go with that. But, if you don't: Choose the name or the shape that you like and every one will have fun. Add some elegant harvest and cheese or wine appetizers like cream cheese and pumpkin bundles, Moscato wine cupcakes, crescent wrapped apple brie, and Parmesan mushroom caps. |
